NEW STRATEGY FOR COLLEGE VISITS

College visits can help families find the right fit for their children but as with other
aspects of college planning, it's easy to go overboard and spend thousands of dollars
in the process.

Here are some  tips on how to save while helping your student:

1)  Try organizing a family vacation around the college that your student wants to visit

2)  Send just one parent on the trips with the student

3)  Carpooling and sharing hotel rooms with other prospectives

4)  Organizing the school to visit by region and visting many schools in the region on
      one trip.

5)  Research, research, research - before you spend any money
