The Current Unemployment Rate of 8.3%

The January unemployment rate fell to 8.3%
and the nation added 243,000jobs last month.

While the nation's unemployment rate has been
slowly declining but the Fed has a modestly
optimistic view on 2012.

The seemingly improving unemployment rate
distorts the true picture of the nation's
economy because it does not reflect the
people who have lost there jobs and are
not actively looking for work. There are
also a lot of people who are out of the
labor force because they don't think they
can find work.
