Governor Andrew Cuomo establishes committees to tackle what he called
the two biggest problems facing New York - the rising Medicaid costs and
state spending requirements that drive up property taxes.
Last month Governor Cuomo's Medicaid committee produced 79 saving
proposals that is expected to SAVE NYS BILLIONS.
This is exactly what must happen in government - critical analysis of the
major spending budget drivers.
The committee dealing with the state spending requirements impacting
property taxes has not yet made their saving proposals but they are
expected shortly.
