Ever notice how some people set goals and then achieve them -
What is their secret - are they genetically different than the
rest of us???
No - - they are just more disciplined. We could do it too--here's how:
1) Write down your goals - these are areas that you would like to have
more control over.
2) Identify action plans - What are the steps that I need to take to get
me closer to my goal.
3) Be Specific - Use the SMART criteria that is used in many corporations
for goal-setting.
SMART = Specific (Specific - What goal are you trying to achieve?)
Measurable (How will success be measured?)
Achievable (Is it something that it possible?)
Results Oriented (What are my results. what does success look like)
Time bound (Set an end date)
4) Accept Responsibility
